Controversial entrepreneur Dato Aliff Syukri may have some bright ideas under his sleeve when it comes to marketing, but many Malaysians agree that he doesn’t have what it takes to be a singer.
Criticisms online have not deterred his will to keep on performing, but this time, Aliff’s mother has broken her silence and revealed what she really thinks about her son.
“I don’t know where he got his confidence”
In a TikTok video, Aliff’s mother, Rozita Ibrahim was talking about childhood snacks before she mentioned her son, whom she said has always been naughty since he was a kid. There’s always 1 sibling of yours who loves to joke around, and according to Rozita, Aliff is THAT one sibling who is the naughtiest at home.
Rozita is aware of her son’s annual activity – creating Raya songs. But is she a fan of her son’s singing? Let’s just say, she agrees with what many Malaysians think about Aliff’s singing because Rozita said that Aliff is not even talented.
“We’re all immune to his attitude. I don’t know where he got his confidence, but his soaring confidence beats any talented singers out there,” Rozita said.
Has Rozita ever scolded her son for creating controversial content? Of course she has!
“Don’t think that I’ve never scolded him. I have!”
In her caption, Rozita also apologised to netizens on behalf of her son.
In another part of the video, Rozita is seen joking around with Aliff, who is pretending to receive calls for multiple invitations to perform. She told him nobody will watch his shows even for free, except for monkeys.
Aliff also took the time to show his mother the criticisms that he received online, to which Rozita asked,
“What do you feel when people make a parody of you?”
Guess what? The self-declared Malaysia’s number 1 singer enjoys it.
“I feel fun watching it.”
