BELURAN: The Ministry of Community Development and People’s Wellbeing (KPMKR) will centralise all logistical problems faced by authorities in dealing with floods to further streamline their operations in future.

Minister of KPMKR Datuk James Ratib said there are still many problems and shortcomings faced by authorities tasked with dealing with floods throughout the state.

Advertisement“During my visits to areas affected by floods, many problems and shortcomings have been raised by PKOB, especially from the disaster chairmen.

“Among other issues mentioned are the lack of boats, lack of generators, constraints in terms of communication, lack of life jackets and so on.
