HUAWEI Malaysia has unveiled its latest MatePad Air, an ultra-thin PC-like AI tablet designed to deliver smarter productivity, seamless experiences, and everyday versatility.
Measuring just 5.3mm thin and weighing 509g, the HUAWEI MatePad Air features a 12-inch 2.8K Ultra-Clear OLED PaperMatte Display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio, 1,200 nits peak brightness, and anti-glare PaperMatte finish for an immersive and comfortable viewing experience.
For productivity, the tablet comes with PC-level WPS Office enhanced by WPS AI, which can generate presentations, draft and refine documents, summarise PDFs, and analyse spreadsheets. HUAWEI Notes adds AI Speech-to-Text for transcribing meetings and lectures, AI Handwriting Enhancement, PDF annotation, and AI Tutor for step-by-step explanations across various subjects.
Furthermore, the HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro enhances the experience with pinch, press, and rotate gestures, 16,384 pressure levels, Swipe to Turn Pages, and an Air Mouse function for remote presentation control.
Under the hood, the Kirin T93C octa-core chip and up to 8GB virtual memory support smooth multitasking, while the 10,100mAh battery with 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge provides extended usage for work, creativity, and entertainment.
