POCO Malaysia has just announced the local launch of the latest POCO X8 Pro Max, POCO X8 Pro, and the exclusive POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition. Let’s take a look at them.
For starters, the POCO X8 Pro Max is powered by the new Dimensity 9500s flagship chipset, built on a 3nm process, while the POCO X8 Pro debuts the Dimensity 8500-Ultra platform, with both offering improved performance, better GPU capabilities, and enhanced power efficiency.
On top of that, the series boasts advanced LiquidCool Technology, with the X8 Pro Max using a larger 3D IceLoop cooling system for improved thermal efficiency, while the X8 Pro adopts a dual-layer version to maintain consistent performance during demanding tasks.
As for viewing, the X8 Pro Max and X8 Pro feature 6.83-inch and 6.59-inch displays respectively, both delivering up to 3,500 nits peak brightness for excellent outdoor visibility.
In terms of design, the series sports a minimalist yet premium look, with the X8 Pro Max offering a metal frame and fiberglass back for a more refined feel, while the X8 Pro focuses on a compact form with slim bezels and a high screen-to-body ratio.
Both models also include customizable RGB lighting around the camera module and strong durability, with Gorilla Glass 7i protection, multiple IP ratings for dust and water resistance, and enhanced structural reliability.
Photography-wise, the POCO X8 Pro Series combines a 50MP main camera and 20MP front camera with AI-powered enhancements to deliver sharp, vibrant photos across various lighting conditions, with the Pro Max featuring a Light Fusion 600 sensor and the Pro using a Sony IMX882.
It also includes creative features like UltraSnap, Dynamic shots, seamless video-to-live photo conversion, and AI-assisted editing for a more versatile photography experience.
Notably, the POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition expands POCO’s collaboration with Marvel, combining flagship performance with a bold black-and-gold design inspired by Iron Man’s iconic armor.
Featuring Arc Reactor-inspired elements and a fully customized Iron Man-themed UI, the device delivers a distinctive, immersive experience both in design and user interaction.
