- PepsiCo has recalled more than 122,000 cases of Gatorade across 37 US states due to undeclared artificial food dyes.
- The affected 28-oz bottles include Lemon Lime, Lemon Lime Zero, Orange, and Orange Zero flavours with lot dates spanning April 2027 to June 2027.
- The US Food and Drug Administration warned that undeclared Yellow No. 5 and Yellow No. 6 dyes could trigger mild rashes or allergic-type asthma.
- The announcement comes amidst an expanded recall of frozen berries linked to an E. coli outbreak that has hospitalised six people in Florida and Georgia.
- Danone USA has also voluntarily recalled pints of So Delicious non-dairy ice cream due to potential contamination from small stones and hard objects.
