There’s no shortage of good music this year. Here are the new albums coming out in 2026 that we’re looking forward to.
Bruno is back after a decade, Charli is doing a tie-in album with a Margot Robbie/Jacob Elordi movie, and Blackpink and BTS are coming out with new music. With all these new albums in 2026, it’s shaping up to be a great year of music across all genres and fandoms. For us here in Thailand, we also get the privilege of seeing some of these artists on stage when they come visit (come on, Bruno, we’re waiting). But even if they don’t, the variety of new albums being released this year is keeping us well fed. Here are a list of new albums being released in 2026 that we’re excited about.

BTS, Blackpink, Harry Styles, and Bruno Mars: New albums in 2026 to be hyped for
Robbie Williams – Britpop
15 January
The English singer-songwriter had been working on this album, his 13th studio album, alongside his biopic, Better Man, which was released in December of 2024. It was last May that Williams announced Britpop. Afterwards, he released five singles from the album, which included the songs “Rocket” featuring Black Sabbath guitarist Tommy Iommi and “Pretty Face” with Mexican pop duo Jesse & Joy.
Charli XCX – Wuthering Heights
13 February

The internet is already sweating profusely with the pairing of Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, but the film had to turn it up a notch with a dedicated album from British singer Charli XCX. The films writer and director, Emerald Fennel, approached Charli to compose a song for the film. Instead, she composed several and decided to make a full-fledged companion album. Wuthering Heights is a departure from her previous album, Brat, as evidenced by this album’s singles like “House” and “Chains of Love”.
Bruno Mars – The Romantic
27 February
Everyone’s saying 2026 is the new 2016, so it seems fitting that Bruno’s last album, 24K Magic, was released in 2016, while his brand new album is releasing this year. Not much is definitively known about the album. Rumours state that this is a purely solo album with no guests, meaning it’s nine tracks of Bruno goodness. Judging by the single, “I Just Might”, the uber-talented singer-songwriter is once again bringing that nostalgic funky sound.
Blackpink – Deadline
27 February
It’s hard to believe that this is only the ladies’ third studio album and that it’s been four years since their last one. Though the album is still a month away, Blackpink already concluded the Deadline World Tour, their very first world stadium tour. On top of that, the album’s lead single, “Jump”, debuted in the top spot on the Billboard Global 200 when it was released last July.
Harry Styles – Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
6 March
The English singer-songwriter returns with a new album after four years. There was an inventive tease for the album involving a text chat on WhatsApp until it the album was eventually unveiled on January 15. “Aperture”, the lead single, was released on January 22, and the entire track listing was revealed the next day.
Charlie Puth – Whatever’s Clever!
6 March
Charlie’s been busy being Professor Puth on TikTok where he shares his musical genius and insights, but he’s also been working on his brand new album. Charlie’s switched up the way he wrote the songs for this album, writing the lyrics first before figuring out the melody instead of the other way around. His first baby with his wife, Brooke Sansone, was the main reason for this.
BTS – Arirang
20 March

The boys are gearing up for their first tour after completing their military service, and that also coincides with their upcoming new album. This will be their 10th studio album and their first in three years, which means fans have been eagerly waiting for it. The boyband gave occasional updates throughout 2025 that they were working on the album. In November, Jimin revealed that they had already finished working on it.
Meghan Trainor – Toy with Me
20 April
Trainor says this new album is about “self-confidence, freedom, and learning how to meet people where they are at”. “Still Don’t Care”, the album’s lead single, was released on November 12, and “sets the tone for this whole Toy With Me era”, Trainor describes. She’s also announced The Get In Girl Tour to support the album.
Madonna – Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2
The widely acclaimed Confessions on a Dance Floor was released in 2005, and Madonna’s last album, Madame X, was released back in 2019. So when the iconic singer announced she was making a new album, which is expected to be a sequel to the 2005 album, fans were ecstatic. Stuart Price, who produced the first album, has returned to work on the new one. No date has been given for its release aside from its sometime this year.
