One of Asia’s most anticipated toy exhibitions, Pop Toy Show 2025, is set to return to Singapore from August 22 to 24, turning the Sands Expo and Convention Centre (Halls A–C) into a collector’s playground. Organised by China’s designer toy powerhouse POP MART, this third edition will bring over dozens of artists, toy designers, and global brands together under one roof, with a fresh focus on the wildly popular character Hirono. This year’s headline act, Hirono, is an introspective figure by Chinese artist Lang, known for expressing complex emotions and quiet resistance through blind box art.
The Pop Toy Show first debuted in Beijing in 2020, establishing itself as a major platform for designer toys before expanding internationally, with its first Singapore edition launching in 2023.

Created in 2021 by Chinese artist Lang, Hirono is a designer toy character exploring themes of emotion, identity, and introspection. Lang, who co-founded POP MART and serves as its Art Director, developed Hirono from personal experiences, including fatherhood and early struggles in Beijing. Widely popular in Asia’s blind box scene, each series from The Other One’ to ‘Echo’ uses symbolic storytelling to reflect inner conflict and emotional growth.
Following last year’s successful edition, visitors can expect limited drops and exclusive figure releases, artist meet-and-greets, interactive experiences, and event-only merchandise. Live sketching sessions, immersive installations, and limited-edition drops are also expected to return, making this a key date in Asia’s toy calendar.
