Leeds United manager Sam Allardyce has decided to base himself in the city for the remainder of the season.

The former England coach wants to spend as many hours as possible working on the training ground.

Per The Mail, the ex-Everton, Newcastle and Bolton boss still lives in Bolton, which is around an hour and a half away from Leeds' training ground.

Allardyce has former Leeds striker Robbie Keane on his staff, when long-term no.2 Sammy Lee was not able to join him.

The Elland Road club lost his first game in charge 2-1 to Manchester City on Saturday.

However, Allardyce will have been pleased with the intensity shown by his players.
