Alliance Bank and Boost Bank are now available on Google Wallet, expanding access to digital payment options for their customers in Malaysia.
Alliance Bank’s Visa credit cardholders can now add their cards to Google Wallet for convenient and secure contactless payments. Similarly, Boost Bank users can integrate their Mastercard debit cards with the platform, making it the first digital bank in Malaysia to support the service.
Google Wallet enables users to link their payment cards to Android smartphones, allowing for transactions by simply tapping their phones on NFC-enabled payment terminals. This development supports the growing shift towards cashless transactions, offering users a streamlined and wallet-free payment experience.
With the addition of Alliance Bank and Boost Bank, Google Wallet’s support in Malaysia now includes a range of banks such as AmBank, Bank Muamalat, CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, HSBC Bank, Maybank, Public Bank, RHB Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Wise.
