Alliance Bank has announced some revisions to the features and benefits of its Visa Infinite Business credit card, which include changes to the tiered cashback rates, complimentary Plaza Premium Lounge access, as well as insurance coverages offered. With these updates set to take effect starting from 1 March 2024, the card will also be sporting a new card face for those who apply or renew their cards from 15 March onwards.
To begin, the Alliance Bank Visa Infinite Business card will be getting a refreshed card face featuring an elegant, vertical gold-and-black design, as you can see in image below. Notably, it will also adopt the minimalist style that was used for the Alliance Bank Visa Platinum, Alliance Bank Visa Signature and Alliance Bank Visa Infinite credit cards when they were refreshed back in 2020 and 2021.

As for its benefits, the Alliance Bank Visa Infinite Business credit card currently offers cardholders the option to either earn tiered cashback of up to 1.5% (where each tiered rate is applicable to the amount in the specified monthly spend range), or earn up to 2x Timeless Bonus Points (TBP) for every RM1 spent on selected purchases. Here’s a table to summarise its existing benefits:
Come 1 March 2023, cardholders who opt for the cashback benefit will still be able to earn up to 1.5% cashback on their expenses, but there’ll be some adjustments to the rates within the tiers and the monthly spend ranges. Meanwhile, those who choose to earn TBP for their expenses will not see any changes; they will continue to earn up to 2x TBP for selected purchases. Here are the updated card benefits for your reference:
Aside from the changes to the tiered cashback rates, the Alliance Bank Visa Infinite Business credit card will also see some amendments made to a few other card privileges. These include the existing complimentary Plaza Premium Lounge (PPL) access, insurance and coverage offered, as well as the 0% interest flexi payment plans (FPP) provided for overseas purchases.
We’ve also summarised these amendments in the following table for your convenience:
Aside from these, other existing card privileges remain unchanged; you’ll still be able to tap into the 24/7 Visa Infinite Concierge Service for personalised assistance while travelling, as well as exclusive discounts for a variety of expenses. These include dining, golfing, and shopping rebates at participating merchants and establishments.
Finally, note that there will also be some revisions to the annual fees of the Alliance Bank Visa Infinite Business credit card. Currently, the annual fee for the card stands at RM800 (company/principal) and RM100 (nominee/supplementary) – waived without condition for the first year, and with a minimum annual spend of RM80,000 for subsequent years.

After 1 March, this fee will be automatically waived for cardholders who have applied for the SME financing facility with Alliance Bank (with an active tenure). Meanwhile, for those who do not, the annual fee will still be waived without condition for the first year, but following that, you’ll need to either spend a minimum of RM12,000 per annum or make at least 12 transactions on the card in a year.
So as you can see, the revisions to the Alliance Bank Visa Infinite Business credit card is quite extensive. If you need further clarification on the changes, you can reach out to Alliance Bank’s contact centre at 03-5516 9288 to enquire.
