Kota Kinabalu: The Federal Government should also allow non-Muslims in Sabah to use “Allah” and not just for Sarawak, said Senator Datuk John Ambrose.
Sabah’s religious fabric is similar to Sarawak where all races and ethnic groups of various religious backgrounds…be it Muslims, Christians, Buddhists or Hindus, among others, have been living harmoniously for a long time without using religion as a tool.
“Since the time of our ancestors, many non-Muslims, especially the Christian community in Sabah, have been using Allah and this was never an issue.”
