Almeria coach Gaizka Garitano says Luka Romero may've suffered a broken jaw in defeat at Celta Vigo last night.
Romero, on-loan from Lazio, was taken to hospital after clashing with Marc Pubill.
Garitano said: "It's his jaw, I don't know if it's broken. Let's see how he feels, he's gone to the hospital and I hope he has as little as possible."
Asked if Almeria are now down after the defeat, he said: "We have to continue fighting out of respect for a city and a fan.
"Today everything happens to us, all the misfortunes together. Luka's injury, then we are left with one less due to expulsion and Leo is injured and we are left with nine. We played almost the entire second half with one less player and then with two less when the game was alive.
"It was a tough defeat for us because it was an opportunity for us to get hooked."
