Manchester United midfielder Amad Diallo was delighted to get back on the pitch in defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Amad was a second-half substitute as he made a first United appearance in two years.
He later posted to social media: I thank everyone who prayed for me during my injury.
Being on the field today after five months was truly a special day for me... this team will come back stronger like it always has. I am proud and I thank God for allowing me to be on this team."
United are next in action on Monday January 8 in the FA Cup against Wigan Athletic.
