Aman Arora on Tuesday assumed charge as the Minister for Industries and Commerce at Udyog Bhawan in Sector 17, Chandigarh.

Arora already holds portfolios including Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training, New and Renewable Energy Sources, Good Governance and Information Technology and Printing and Stationery.

After taking charge, Arora expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal for reposing faith in him.

He said his top priority would be to transform Punjab into a most preferred investment destination by cutting red tape, promoting sustainable industries and ensuring that every industrial expansion translates directly into local jobs, besides creating a seamless ecosystem linking industrial policy, clean energy, skill development and governance reform. “My goal is to make Punjab a model for ‘ease of doing business’ while generating dignified, skill-based employment for our youth,” Arora said.
