Former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad expressed his personal opinion regarding the Israeli war on Gaza. According to him on X, there is something peculiar regarding the Israel and Gaza situation.
“The Israeli war in Gaza is odd in certain ways. According to the report, two thousand Palestinians were slain when the battle began. There were 1400 Israelis dead. The conflict has lasted for more than two weeks. According to the report, almost 5,000 Palestinians have been slain. However, the total number of Israelis murdered remained at 1400,” said Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
Implying that the number of deceased Israelis is fake, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad continues by saying “Could it be that Hamas had stopped shooting rockets at Israel after killing 1400 Israelis on the first day? Or was the 1400 figure concocted by Israel to justify its ongoing genocide against Hamas and all Palestinians?”
“Israel is a small country. However, Israel is unconcerned about international law or morality. Why? The reason behind this is that the American government is behind it. To be honest, the American government supports Israel's crimes and immorality. Biden makes no mention of the Palestinians who were killed,” said the former Prime Minister.
“Why is the US government supporting Israel? It is because Jews in America greatly influence who becomes President and who forms the government of the United States. They control the media as well as the banks.
“In addition to condemning Israel for its atrocities against Palestinians, we should also criticize the US government for its backing for the atrocities. In reality, the US government is willing to back Israel's assault on Gaza and genocide. The American and British governments are both to blame.” said Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
According to Utusan Malaysia, on October 9, the Malaysian Parliament's Palestinian Caucus encouraged the local media not to follow the skewed reporting narrative of the Western media and international media in reporting the progress of the Gaza Strip situation in Palestine.
