Beggars can’t be choosers. Food is also a blessing that many of us tend to overlook but what do you do when you meet someone who needs help but rejects food and insists on cash instead?

A foreign traveller recently visited one of the Ramadhan Bazaar in KL where he encountered a woman who asked for some financial help. In his viral TikTok post @travelingsolovlogs, a woman was seen approaching Solomon and telling him she wanted some food via sign language.

Solomon was happy to give her some of the food he bought but she was not happy with what was offered.

‘You don’t want food? Okay,” the woman left immediately after knowing she was not getting any cash.

In his video, Solomon said that he had seen the woman with another group of people as well who also asked for money from the people.

“I’ll be real with you guys, there are some scammers here in Kuala Lumpur. They just walk in the streets and always ask for some money.”

Solomon was happy to give the woman some of his food but unfortunately, his kind intentions were rejected.
