KOTA KINABALU: Nominated Assemblywoman Datuk Amisah Yassin defended the RM1.18 billion 2025 Supplementary Supply Bill, stressing it addresses urgent and unforeseen needs, not political motives.
She cited rising costs, infrastructure gaps, and rural demands, especially water issues in Ranau, Pitas, and Tongod.
Amisah supported allocations for disaster response, youth, religion, and community welfare, saying these are targeted, not symbolic.
