The Sun says Amrabat is waiting on United to settle terms with Fiorentina over a fee for his transfer.
Agents for Amrabat were in Manchester this week to discuss personal terms.
The midfielder previously worked with United manager Erik ten Hag, spending two years with him at FC Utrecht.
