Season two of Netflix’s One Piece will be premiering tomorrow (March 10)! As the Straw Hat Pirates sail into our screens, we’ve wondered what it would be like if they sailed into Kuala Lumpur. If the fictional pirates were to set their anchor in our ports, we’ve made an itinerary for each of their crew members based on their favourite foods.

As a multinational crew (according to One Piece creator Eichiiro Oda), Kuala Lumpur would be a fitting stopover. Our culinary scene is just as diverse as devil fruit varieties, from Malaysian to Japanese cuisine. Not to mention our tropical climate, where the Straw Hats will feel at home after exploring islands like Little Garden and Loguetown.

We’ve taken all the favourite foods of crew members and have recommended eateries in Kuala Lumpur that they must try. Considering their personalities, we’ve also chosen the right kind of places where the crew would have an unforgettable meal. From Luffy’s favourite roasted meat to Sanji’s love for pasta, Kuala Lumpur has just the right places they’re looking for.

As the crew of Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Usopp make their return to the screen, they will also be joined by new friends and foes. We’ve also included some new characters introduced this season who may or may not join the crew. Here are some places for the One Piece pirates in Kuala Lumpur that would not be filler episodes.
