Mauricio Pochettino left a note behind for Tottenham's players after his dismissal, it has been revealed.
Pochettino did not have the chance to say goodbye to the Spurs players after being sacked and only had time to leave a note, according to reports.
The Argentine was dismissed after five years in charge of the north London side on Tuesday night and was replaced swiftly by Jose Mourinho as they look to recover from a tough start to the season.
Instead of speaking to them, Pochettino instead had to leave them a note.
According to The Sun, the note apparently read: 'Sorry we cannot come to say goodbye, you are always in our hearts.'
