Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was happy to hand Vinicius Tobias a debut for today's 2-2 draw with Club America at Oracle Park.
The young Brazilian arrived at the end of last season from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Tobias gave away a penalty on the day, but Ancelotti said: "Tobias came on because he's a very good young player. He's very focused in training and I gave him some minutes because of that."
Eden Hazard also appeared and scored from the spot.
The coach added: "We need to give Hazard minutes in these games because he's a great player and we need him."
