Athletic Bilbao have struck personal terms with PSG midfielder Ander Herrera.
Herrera has agreed on a two-year deal with Athletic plus a further 12 month option.
It's now over to PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to find a way to make the move work.
Al-Khelaifi is willing to grant Herrera a free transfer, which would involve paying out a percentage of his contract and also the remainder of the signing on bonus he is due after his original Bosman move from Manchester United.
Herrera, who turned 33 on Sunday, is expected to have to give up around 50 per cent of the €16m he is owed to make the transfer happen.
