Anderlecht goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is keen on a return to the Premier League.
The former Leicester City captain, 37, has failed to settle in Belgium and hopes to seal a return to England in January.
TalkSPORT says Sheffield United are interested in Schmeichel.
Blades manager Chris Wilder is in the market for a new keeper with Wes Foderingham struggling for form.
