
- Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Thames Valley Police have agreed before a High Court judge that search warrants used to raid two of his royal properties in February were unlawful.
- The legal claim was brought by Mr Mountbatten-Windsor against the police force regarding warrants granted at the Old Bailey that permitted searches of his Sandringham residence and former Windsor home, Royal Lodge.
- The searches followed Mr Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office, stemming from allegations that he shared sensitive information with Jeffrey Epstein whilst serving as the UK's trade envoy.
- Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, who was interviewed under caution and subsequently released, has strenuously denied all wrongdoing and reportedly accused officers of taking personal items during the raids.
- The King stripped his brother of his prince title and dukedom in October last year following ongoing scrutiny over his association with the late sex offender.
