Brazilian youngster Andrey Santos is delighted to complete his move to Chelsea from Vasco da Gama.

The 18-year-old may be new to first team football, but he is showing maturity beyond his years.

Earning praise from the likes of Juninho Pernambucano and Vasco veteran Nene, Santos has a lot to live up to at Stamford Bridge.

"Everyone knows it has always been a dream to represent my country," Santos, who is Brazil captain at the U20 South American Championships, explained in an interview with ge.globo this week.

"I have to enjoy every moment, every participation, and it's clear how happy I am to be here, to be at Granja to represent Brazilian football.

"I got there [Chelsea], talked to them, and they made me feel at ease, accepted my decision, and wished me good luck. I'm sure they're rooting for me, they've already sent me a message to keep it up. And I hope to continue like this to continue bearing fruit and happiness for Brazil and for Chelsea."
