Angel Alarcon made his debut for Barcelona in their 5-0 win at Copa del Rey opponents Cueta.
The forward, from Castelldefels, becomes the 10th homegrown player to make his debut under Xavi.
The 18 year-old entered the field in the 80th minute for Raphinha, who came off with a goal (the first) and an assist (to Franck Kessie, for the fourth goal). Alarcn jumped onto the pitch with the number 38 on his shirt.
Alarcn was placed on the right flank and the first thing he did was create a foul.
