RANAU: A female climber had to be carried down to safety by rescuers after she suffered an ankle sprain while descending Mount Kinabalu, Friday.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Station Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said the incident involving the 22-year-old local happened at Km 4.1 of the Mount Kinabalu climber’s trail about 1pm.
