Tottenham have landed in hot water with their supporters once again this week.
The Premier League giants had refunded fans who went to St. James' Park to watch them take on Newcastle United in the Premier League.
After losing 6-1, having been 5-0 down after less than 25 minutes, Spurs made the gesture to ease their fans' pain.
However, Tottenham also removed loyalty points from fans who bought tickets for the game and traveled to Newcastle.
Fans were furious on social media, but it appears the issue was only temporary.
The @THSTOfficial Twitter account posted: "Have had confirmation from @SpursOfficial that the Newcastle loyalty point deduction was an automatic part of the process and the 2 points will be added back on."
