Kota Kinabalu: Another wanted criminal was reportedly killed in a shootout with police at a building on Jalan Undan near the Inanam Bus Terminal, here, early Thursday morning.

The 59-year-old suspect is also believed to be a friend of the three criminals who were shot dead in a Beverly Hills shootout yesterday, Harian Metro reported.

"During the raid, the suspect opened fire, causing the raid team to return fire to protect the safety and lives of the police personnel. In the incident, the suspect was confirmed dead at the scene," he said when met at the scene this morning.

According to him, the wanted suspect was from Sarawak.

However, he said the police are still conducting further investigations.

Yesterday, a police team from Sabah CID shot dead three criminals in a shootout at their hideout in Beverly Hills.
