Egypt coach Javier Aguirre is adamant Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah can win the Ballon d'Or.
Speaking on Friday, Aguirre declared that if Salah can lead an Egypt side to a first AFCON title since 2010 - an eighth overall - then he is a certainty for world football's biggest individual prize.

"Why not? He is a Champions League winner with Liverpool," he told Cadena Sur.
If he can lead Egypt to the African Cup of Nations, no one can keep the Ballon d'Or away from him."
