Anthony Gordon has made a verbal transfer request at Everton.
The Athletic reports Gordon has told them he wants to sign for Chelsea.
They report the 21-year-old winger wants to play Champions League football and believes the move will boost his chances of an England spot at this winter's World Cup.
The Blues are ready to pay £50million plus £10m in potential add-ons for Gordon.
They have already had offers of £40m and £45m turned down by Everton.
