Anthony Gordon has passed his medical at Newcastle United.
Gordon passed his medical at Newcastle on Saturday ahead of confirming his 45million move from Everton.
The 21-year-old will become the club's second most expensive signing with the deal an initial 40m plus 5m in bonuses.
Gordon failed to show for Everton training on Wednesday and Thursday as he attempted to accelerate his exit.
There were concerns that the arrival of Marcelo Bielsa as manager at Goodison Park could halt the deal, given he wanted pace in his team. However, when the move for Bielsa collapsed and Sean Dyche emerged as Everton's choice, the Gordon transfer was allowed to proceed, says the Daily Mail.
Gordon's imminent move comes after he forced through a move to St James' Park, telling the club he had no intention of returning to training at Finch Farm and missing a total of three days, the first of which was planned.
