Oriental Kopi opened its doors at KLIA Terminal 1 on Level 5 (Departure Level) on 11 January, as announced by its founder, Dato’ Calvin Chan, in a social media post.

The outlet notably operates from 5 AM until 12 AM. Consequently, travellers at KLIA Terminal 2 can also make their way to Terminal 1 to have a cup of coffee and a hearty meal before their flights.

With the brand’s overwhelming popularity and the loyal customers’ continuous support, are there plans for more outlets apart from those in shopping malls?

More outlets in transportation hubs

After attending an event, Loke had lunch at Oriental Kopi in KLIA Terminal 1 and had a chance to mingle with Dato’ Calvin, who was also there. The Transport Minister suggested that the chain’s founder open more Oriental Kopi outlets in other transportation hubs, as shared in his Facebook post.

Oriental Kopi Holdings Bhd posted a net profit of RM60.75 million for the financial year ended 30 September 2025. In a bourse filing, Oriental Kopi stated that the improved performance was boosted by sustained demand from local customers and tourists.

For the fourth quarter, net profit stood at RM15.89 million, while revenue amounted to RM133.16 million.
