Anti-ICE protesters clash again with federal agents outside detention center as inmate hunger strike continues

New clashes between anti-ICE protesters and federal agents have broken out outside a New Jersey detention center.

Footage captured on Tuesday (26 May) shows chaos ensuing outside of Delaney Hall - where hundreds of detainees have been staging a hunger strike, alleging inhumane conditions inside the 1000 bed-facility.

Federal agents used pepper spray against protesters in an attempt to disperse crowds, whilst demonstrators blocked federal vehicles from leaving the detention center.

According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, about 125 protesters gathered outside the facility over the weekend. Wednesday (27 May) marks the fifth day of protesting linked to the ongoing hunger strike.
