Antony says he has accepted Manchester United's decision to suspend him from their Carrington training complex.
United made the announcement this morning as Antony undergoes a police investigation into domestic violence.
Antony has since responded, stating: "I agreed with Manchester United for a period of leave while I resolve the accusations made against me. It was a mutual decision so as not to distract my teammates and avoid generating unnecessary controversy for the club.
"I want to reiterate my innocence regarding the accusations made against me and I will cooperate fully with the police to help them reach the truth.
"I look forward to returning to the pitch."
