PETALING JAYA: PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed that talks are under way for Tengku Zafrul Aziz to join the party.

Speaking to reporters after attending PKR’s special congress here today, Anwar said only “preliminary discussions” have taken place.

Asked if Tengku Zafrul, an Umno Supreme Council member, was keen to join PKR, he said the question should be directed towards the investment, trade and industry minister.
