Starting Friday, May 31, students from Standard Four up to the tertiary level will receive RM100 book vouchers, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar announced that the vouchers would be available after 2pm, beginning with Standard Four students due to the government’s financial limitations, according to The Star.
He mentioned that secondary school students, college and university students, and those in teaching institutes would also be eligible for these vouchers.
This announcement was made during the launch of the KL International Book Festival 2024 on Thursday, May 30.
Anwar also stated that the details on how to claim the vouchers would be shared on Friday.
