Anwar Ibrahim says he is still waiting for Anthony Loke to formally submit his resignation letter after the DAP leader offered to step down.
SHAH ALAM: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he is still waiting for Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook to formally submit his resignation letter.
“I am still waiting for the letter,” he said when met by reporters today at the Himpunan Mesra Alumni UiTM Bersama Perdana Menteri.
Previously, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has offered to submit his resignation to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim “at the soonest time possible” as the party’s response to the conditional pardon granted to former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Loke said he would submit his resignation letter after returning from China, where he was on an official visit.
