Kota Kinabalu: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will seek the position of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on whether the RM6 million recovered by it from the Sabah Water Department scandal can be returned to Sabah after the case ends.
“I will direct the MACC to give an explanation on where the money has gone to and why follow-up actions are not being taken.
“I must respect the system of governance, I cannot speak on behalf of the MACC, I can only ask that the commission carry out their duties with transparency,”
