
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is undergoing medical examinations and procedures prescribed by a team of medical specialists.
In a statement today, the Prime Minister's senior press secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said Anwar was expected to remain under observation for two days.
"Let us pray that the prime minister's examinations and procedures proceed smoothly and that he is granted lasting good health, enabling him to resume his duties as usual in the near future, God-willing," he said.
