PHILIPPINE telecom Smart Communications Inc. is offering the latest Apple Watch models with postpaid plans that allow users to stay connected, track health and fitness activities and make contactless payments from their wrists.
The lineup includes the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3, available with Smart Postpaid Plans with Device starting at Plan 999.
The Apple Watch SE 3 starts at P692 per month, while the Apple Watch Series 11 starts at P1,321 per month and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 at P2,275 per month. Participating bank partners also offer 0 percent installment plans.
One of the more useful features for Smart subscribers is Smart Device Link, which allows an Apple Watch to share the user's primary mobile number and plan. At P199 per month, the service supports calls, text messages and mobile data on the watch even when the paired iPhone is not nearby.
First-time Smart Device Link users can get a six-month free trial until September 30.
The Apple Watch lineup also provides health, fitness and safety features, although capabilities vary by model. These include heart-rate and sleep tracking, ECG, Sleep Score, workout tracking, Crash Detection and Emergency SOS.
Apple Pay adds contactless payment capabilities, allowing users to make transactions directly through the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch SE 3 focuses on essential health, fitness, safety and connectivity features. The Series 11 adds more advanced health and fitness functions for everyday use, while the Ultra 3 is positioned for sports and outdoor activities.
Smart also highlights its 5G network as part of the connectivity experience across the Apple Watch and iPhone.
Smart said the Apple Watch SE 3, Series 11 and Ultra 3 are available through its online store and Smart Stores.
