AppleOne launches Mahi Center in Cebu

APPLEONE Group on Wednesday launched Mahi Center, its first integrated business and lifestyle destination, marking its expansion into mixed-use developments in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

AppleOne President and CEO Ray Go Manigsaca said the launch underscored Cebu’s continued emergence as a hub for business and tourism.

“For Mactan residents, professionals, and travelers passing through one of the Philippines’ busiest airports, today’s launch marks a significant moment for AppleOne Group’s growing portfolio,” Manigsaca said, adding that the company aimed to support regional economic growth by building spaces for business, community and leisure.

Mahi Center features a boutique lifestyle mall, a five-story office tower and the nine-story Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan.

Located in Barangay Ibo, it is positioned close to key transport links and tourist corridors.

The development integrates three components designed to complement each other and serve as a community hub.

Its retail segment features a mix of local and international brands, several of which are new to the Mactan area.

The office tower offers workspace for companies looking to establish or expand operations in Mactan City.

Meanwhile, the hotel component features 196 rooms, meeting facilities, and function spaces designed for both business and leisure travelers.

AppleOne Vice President Samantha Manigsaca said the hotel aimed to deliver globally recognized standards with a localized guest experience.

“Fairfield by Marriott is built on the belief that hospitality should feel genuine,” she said, noting that the property is intended to serve as a convenient base for travelers visiting Mactan.

Beyond its commercial offerings, AppleOne said the development was expected to generate jobs across retail, hospitality and property management while supporting local suppliers and contributing to economic activity in the area.
