SEMPORNA: Healthy and able-bodied retired police and army personnel should be appointed as hostel wardens in schools nationwide in a bid to curb bullying incidents.
Exco of Muafakat Mara Malaysia (Borneo Affairs), Aldam Abdullah, said the suggestion is timely, as former security forces personnel are known for their discipline, leadership, and experience in safety protocols and emergency response.
“Their training and background in managing security and crime prevention make them ideal candidates to monitor students in hostels and help prevent bullying cases,” he said.
