LABUAN: The Labuan Chinese Chamber of Commerce (LCCC) hoped the new Federal Government will give priority to politically appointing from among Labuanites as Labuan Corporation (LC) Chairman and to major posts in government agencies on the island.
The Chamber also called on the Federal Government to pay attention to Labuan as the island is facing many problems, including major ones.
LCCC President Datuk Wong Kii Yii said Labuanites understand better what the local people need and thus can effectively solve various civil problems.
