Approved – RM8.8mil for obsolete public facilities

Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has approved the S39 Provision allocation amounting to RM8,8 million for the construction, repair and maintenance of obsolete public facilities in Sabah.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said of the sum, RM1 million would be allocated for public bridges, RM5 million for drainage systems and RM2.8 million for parks and other public facilities.

“The Federal Government, through the Local Government and Housing Ministry (KPKT), has also approved the BP1 allocation amounting to RM48,151,560 and Covid Fund Allocation amounting to RM36,125,000 to my Ministry for the upgrade of obsolete public facilities,” he said.
