During the visit, Amanah Raya Berhad Group Managing Director Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan briefed Ruslan on the functions and operations of the body.

Ruslan is confident that Amanah Raya Berhad’s initiative can be realised as it is able to strengthen any management related to wills or even inheritance, while also meeting the needs of Sabahans.

He added that collaborations producing more efficient services will certainly be welcomed by the community in Sabah, especially the less well-off.

He said the people prefer things that are easy and cheap in any matter, especially in the aspect of managing a will or inheritance compared to the existing method.

“In matters of wills, most will use the services of lawyers with expensive fees which of course many cannot afford, but it is different with Amanah Raya Berhad who will impose cheaper charges including simplifying all related matters.

“If this effort is successful, it would need to be disseminated on the ground to give awareness to the public about aspects of wills, grants and so on that are offered through this collaboration,” he said.
