Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho has officially snubbed Spain.
The 18-year-old had the choice between Spain and Argentina for his international future.
Bernardo Romeo, coordinator of Argentina's youth teams, told Ole that Spain did get in touch with Garnacho, but were told no.
He said: Alejandro Garnacho was very clear, he told me that he answered him out of respect, but he has decided to play for Argentina."
He added that Garnacho is very convinced of playing for the Argentine National Team. You enter the house and he has all the photos with Messi."
The forward will not be in the squad for their March internationals, as he is recovering from an ankle injury.
