Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni plans to call up Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho to the national team for the next international break.

The Red Devils teenager has the option of playing for Argentina or Spain.

While he is not in the present squad due to injury, Scaloni believes it is only a matter of time before he is a full international with the World Cup winners.

Garnacho is presently recovering from an ankle injury he sustained against Southampton.

Speaking in a press conference, Scaloni said: We have high hopes for Garnacho and we hope that he can put on our jersey later.

'Unfortunately he will not come due to injury but we are confident that he can be there in June, he is a boy in whom we have high hopes."
