Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni is keen to Juventus veteran Angel di Maria play on next season.
Off contract in June, Di Maria is considering his future.
Scaloni said: "Angel is a champion, we all know what he can do. He will play as long as he wants, I hope he plays for a long time."
On Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, Scaloni also said: "He's always been fundamental to me, I love him and he's always been my favourite striker.
"He had a few little problems at the World Cup and we had to think of the best for the team. He knows this very well. He was there when we needed him, the the penalty against Holland gave us something extra.
"We love him and we are happy that he has also taken the captaincy of Inter."
