Kota Kinabalu: Gagasan Rakyat Tambunan division chief Datuk Victor P. Paut has congratulated the Sabah arm wrestlers who contributed four out of the ten gold medals captured by the Malaysian team at the recent 2023 IFA World Arm Wrestling Championship.
He presented a contribution as appreciation to them during a simple programme held at the Tambunan Community Hall last Sunday.
He proudly mentioned Wayner Weew Oliver and Nathanael Evander Sooyon as winners at the world championship.
“The success of two arm wrestling athletes born in this district on the world stage should be used as an example or “role model’’ for today’s generation, especially the youth to be active in the field of sports.
